The Beauty of Teaching As You Go

My trainings are not step by steps on how to teach the Bible and all that a child should learn from each Book. You shouldn’t teach the Bible as a teacher who knows everything like how to solve the problems in your Math book. God’s teachings can be very simple and seem black and white but they are also something that as humans we struggle with daily. The beautiful thing about this study is that you learn right along with the students and show your students how God is always teaching us. I have been teaching Genesis for many years now and each year God brings things to the table with the different seasons I am in.

It’s an exciting journey for both the teachers and the students. The best part is when you are open and honest with your students about Your own struggles and then show them how you continue to turn to God. This is hands-on learning, seeing God’s work in an adult and in their own hearts too. In School with Jesus explains what the verses are teaching us but the sharing of our own personal stories is what will make the connections for you yourself, and be an example for students to remember on their own personal journey with Christ.
